Starting over

I've had Xanga for a while... but now I am starting a new chapter in my life and feel like I should start a new blog to go along with it.

I am officially a college graduate! It feels really good to be done. Of course, CCU won't send me my diploma until I pay $46 worth of chapel fines. Oh well... at least that is the last of it. I didn't get quite as burned out on CCU as a lot of people did, and in someways I feel like that is great and in other ways I feel like that is bad. No matter where I went to college I would have had a complaint... so I guess there is no changing where I was and where I am now. All that matters is that my undergraduate career is officially over.

I have a real job now too. I'm working at a Christian homeschool curriculum company in the customer service department. It is really fun and I love being able to have the chance to talk with different people everyday (I get to talk for a living! How great is that for me?? LOL) I've been there a month and it is great. Last week my boss called me into his office and told me he'd like to recommend me for a position in another department because I would be a very valuable asset to that department and to the company long term. Apparently I have more potential than just customer service. So anyway... after a month, I'm already up for a promotion. I am not overwhelmingly hopeful about it, but obviously there is someone who thinks I can do it.

I am moving out of Lakewood next weekend. I can't wait. It should be a really great move because I'll be close to everything (work, Aaron, shopping...) and so not only will my rent be cheaper but my gas tank won't empty as quickly (in theory). I'm moving to Lone Tree, the new job is in Highlands Ranch, and my new apartment is right across the street from Target. That is important to me, LOL. I'll live there alone until January and then Aaron will move in.

Speaking of Aaron and January, the wedding is approaching fast! January 24, 2009. If you haven't already, you should check out our website: www.aaronandlindsey.net password: January. It's 7 months from Tuesday! I still have so much to do but can't believe how much I've gotten done already! I can't believe that I found someone like Aaron, he is absolutely the best possible match for me. I even already made this new blog to have my new name. I'm getting rid of Nicole and making Brunette my middle name. I think Lindsey Brunette Wright sounds like an awesome writer's name. So with that I'm halfway there!

I hope to update this more often now that I set it up. Keep me accountable!
-Lindsey
